Online leaderboards available for all modes and on all platforms, to determine once and for all who qualifies as the best of the best.
Three additional modes of play:
- Survival mode, which challenges players to defeat a timed onslaught of enemies on a series of unique maps, earning points based on performance which can be used to purchase upgrades along the way.
- Speedrun mode (unlocked upon game completion), where cutscenes are disabled and players have one life to try beating their fastest time through the game.
- Hard mode (unlocked upon game completion), where saving is disabled and death spells Game Over.
Console-exclusive enhancements expanding upon the game's original PC release, including additional hidden rooms, additional enemy reinforcements in certain areas, additional sound effects for a more immersive experience, and an entirely new action sequence during the game's final act.
Cloud saving with cross-save capability (on Sony platforms only), allowing those who travel to always be able to take Exile's End with them, whether or not they're playing the game on a portable system, or even on multiple systems.
